Daniel Shadbolt
Daniel Shadbolt (born 1980) is from Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire, just north of London in the UK. He moved to London to study painting at the Chelsea College of Art and Design (2000-3). Following his degree in Fine Art he completed The Drawing Year at The Royal Drawing School (2003-4).
He has taught painting at The Heatherley School of Fine Art since 2008 and became an elected member of The New English Art Club in 2015. His book on ‘Painting and Drawing the Head’ was published by The Crowood Press in 2016.
Recent highlights included a landscape commission from The Peninsula Hotel at Hyde Park Corner in 2021 and a floral still life commission for Anomie Collections 1 in 2022. So far 2024 has brought solo & group gallery exhibitions and exhibiting at The London Art Fair.
