Daisy Rogers-Byrne

Daisy is a fine artist, an art teacher and a curator, and the founder of Byrne Contemporary.

She has been painting professionally for over 8 years and running an art school, teaching adults & children, for 7 years. She has exhibited with Eastwood Fine Art and her work sits in the private collections of a director of the V&A, an internationally-renowned art dealer and numerous other private collections.

She is passionate about the way light falls, capturing the energy of a subject matter, and the power of creativity to connect people of all backgrounds, as well as to share important social stories. Influences include Louise Balaam, Ivon Hitchens, Turner, Mary Cassatt, Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant.

Daisy’s winter Byrne Contemporary collection is a series called ‘In the Quiet Moments’. She also paints expressive sea- and landscapes, still life and takes portraiture commissions.
